ABOUT THE CENTER
The Parent Empowerment Center, a core program of E-Community Outreach Services, is a trusted hub where families in Oakland County can access the tools, guidance, and support they need to thrive.
Located in the heart of downtown Pontiac, our center provides personalized case management and connects families to essential services with dignity, care, and respect. Whether you’re facing a crisis or working toward long-term stability, we’re here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
Our Focus Areas Include:
🏠 Housing Support: Eviction prevention, shelter navigation, and rental assistance referrals
💡 Utility Assistance:Help accessing gas, water, and electric support programs
💼 Employment Services: Job readiness, resume help, and referrals to training and career programs
🎓 Education Resources: Support with GED, adult education, and school enrollment
🧠 Mental Health Referrals:Access to licensed counseling, therapy, and emotional support services
🦷 Health & Dental Resources:Referrals for clinics, wellness screenings, and medical assistance
🎁 Emergency Essentials: Diapers, hygiene items, clothing, household supplies, and more

Membership-Based Services
Access to the Parent Empowerment Center is membership-based, helping us create long-term, consistent support relationships with families.
Membership is free and open to residents of Oakland County. Once enrolled, members can:

Are you passionate about supporting parents and families in your community? Do you enjoy connecting with others and sharing valuable resources and information? If so, our Parent Ambassador Program is the perfect opportunity for you!
About the Program:
Our Parent Ambassador Group aims to empower parents and caregivers to become advocates for positive parenting practices and community engagement. As a Parent Ambassador, you will play a vital role in representing our organization and spreading awareness about our programs, resources, and events.
What You'll Do:
- Share information about our organization and its offerings with your network, including friends, family, colleagues, and community members.
- Promote our workshops, support groups, and events through social media, email newsletters, and word-of-mouth.
- Serve as a liaison between our organization and the community, providing feedback and insights to help us better meet the needs of parents and families.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills as a Parent Ambassador.
